Sorry for the delay in recent photos. We have more but I haven't had time to resize them and they are on Daron's computer. Daron has found some time to golf and go to poker night but since I am the only one who can feed little Addy I have stayed close to home. Luckily, my Mom and Dad are here and have been cooking and cleaning and helping with the baby. Daron has been doing his share of sponge baths and diapers though don't get me wrong!

Addyson Dorea Andrews is here!!
We'll post a bit more later, but just wanted to get a few much anticipated photos up for her adoring fans!! Jen and Addy are both doing fine after the 6:45 am birth. She is the most beautiful baby I've ever seen. Really.

Addyson’s baby shower was last Saturday (March 15th, 2008). I wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out since Daron and I and all of our friends tend to get excited over puppies and kittens and aren’t exactly sure what to do with a human baby! Luckily, we are all open minded (wink, wink) and our friends are very generous! You see here in Kanab, you really have to plan ahead. The nearest shopping aside from the Grocery Store and Family Dollar is 75 miles away. If you order by mail it takes at least a week for anything to get here. What can I say the horses get tired! Ha. Anyhow, our good friends Jon and Jaime hosted the party at their house and went all out with balloons, pink bubble gum cigars and some wonderful hors d'oeuvres. Jon even made brownies that I had pointed out (ok, dropped a few innocent hints about) on the cover of their Cooking Light magazine! Yummy. Since the boys were invited with the understanding that the Buckskin (the bar in Arizona) was to follow we decided to open the gifts first!

Daron and I were very touched by all of the thought and time people put in to finding the perfect gift for Addyson. The gifts ranged from personalized embroidered blankets with “Addyson” and cats and butterflies, a fancy back pack to carry Addyson on our hikes. I figured I will let Daron do the carrying the 2nd months! Of course, we got many cute outfits adorned with bunnies and puppies and such. Daron and I have already listened to the best lullaby CD’s ever, a Pink Floyd and a Metallica Lullaby CD for babies and their really cool parents. Luckily, we received baby wipes and diapers which was high on my list of things I needed as well as the diaper genie! I think Zeena, our dog, might be disappointed about the diaper genie but that is a whole other story!

One of the husbands, Brian, chose not to visit the bar so he had to stay with the women until the bitter end. Luckily, he had beer to keep him company and a great sense of humor. As you can tell by the photos of us!

March 14,2008 marked the one year anniversary of mom's heart attack. Thank God that she is calm under pressure and was able to dial 911 and get to the hospital in time. 2007 was a very stressful year in the health arena but we are all hoping that 2008 proves to be a much healthier year! I am so proud of my mom for quitting smoking, working out, and trying to reduce her stress level. It is important for her to keep healthy in order to keep up with her granddaughter Addy! Addy is planning to spend much time with her “Mimi”.

Well, I just received updates from my mom, Mary Nagle, about our family and friends so I thought I would pass them along. First of all their friend Larry had a car accident and totaled his car. Luckily, he is doing ok. Antonio was also in a car accident he had his car fixed and luckily he is doing ok. Bottom line: It is dangerous to drive in Florida.

A big shout out to Minnesota "Happy Birthday Aunt Mary!" on March 13th she will be turning 88.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Maureen's daughter Andrea who is fighting pnemonia. Andrea is a strong young lady with more energy than anyone I know. In addition she is a big animal lover and Best Friends supporter. My mom said it best when she told me to send Andrea "a warm, furry and fuzzy hug and a big get well soon from all of us!" Spoken like a true animal lover.

Warning: 36 Week Belly Shot
Due to the graphic material parental guidance is suggested.

My best friend from Kindergarten Holly Westenbroek sent the belly a Pack-n-Play! Daron was so excited that he took Monday morning off and put it together. I tried to tell him we won't need it for awhile yet and had no immediate place to put it but he didn't listen. He was a man on a mission. He said it wasn't brain surgery but it was frusterating. Maybe I am glad that I am at work :) Anyhow, we LOVE it and at the moment I would love to be small enough to curl up and go to sleep for say a MONTH! I had Daron take one last belly shot. Yup, this is it. I am at the point where I can't even imagine that I won't be pregnant for the rest of my life. I teach yoga tonight and I keep thinking... How exactly am I going to do this? I always find a way and my back is always happy that I did it but it is getting much trickier. Thanks to Sarah for my favorite pair of maternity pants and my mom for the endless stream of maternity tops.
Remember you were warned!!!

Our friends Jon and Jaime have made plans to take care of the parents to be. This weekend Jon took Daron to Mesquite NV, about two hours away from Kanab, for a weekend of golf, gambling and good times. I was excited for Daron to go and enjoy himself and the wonderful weather we have been experiencing. It was 70 in Kanab yesterday and 78 in Mesquite.

Jaime and I stayed in Kanab and went out to dinner. On March 15th, she is hosting a baby shower for Daron and me. I am planning for the baby to come early so that might mess up the plans a little but we'll see!
