Addy is decked out in her fitness gear with her music box. She loves to dance to "Old McDonald" and a few other nursery rhymes. We decided to go to the fitness center and practice some movement to music. Next week we will start a class for other Moms and Tots!

The Andrews Family went on a Fast

Yes, Grammy and Grandpa Texas came for a visit Dec. 16 - Dec. 22nd. Little did they know we would all be fasting for the holiday. The stomach bug came through with a vengence. Addy was the first to experience it and then Grammy went down, Grandpa was next and Jen and Daron decided to get it overwith the same night. UGH. All I can say is thank goodness for two bathrooms. It has taken a good week to feel a bit better and no one wants a full meal yet. Needless to say, we didn't take too many photos. We did take some of Addy's new Kitchenette that Grammy and Grandpa gave her. We will post those soon!

Mimi, Grandpa and Aunt Lisa (or Sa Sa as Addy says) had a much better time on a cruise! We were so happy for them and so happy we weren't traveling to join them feeling the way we did!

Sa Sa just sent some photos! Thanks to Uncle Dan and Krista Lisa was able to leave her doggies behind and enjoy a nice Christmas! I LOVE the photo of Grandpa on the bed in his cabin. That is probably exactly where I would head on vacation - sleep!!!! Lisa and MiMi look wonderful and I can't wait to hear the stories.

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!
Awesome snow storm on December 7th 2009. Addy, Zeena, the chickens and I went out to enjoy the white world.

Karen made it in from Chicago despite the horrible weather and I picked her up in St. George and it took us a good two hours to drive back to Kanab but we made it!!! Addy got lots of Elmo gifts from Karen and she enjoyed having Karen read her her new books!!!

Addy LOVED the snow. In fact, I couldn't get her to come inside.

Ribbon found around the stray cats neck! Yikes.

A teenage cat came through our cat door last night much to our surprise. Ribbon tied tight around her neck, started to embed in the skin. He is friendly and happy to have the ribbon off! Now I need to find him a home or foster! Any help? We can transport across country :)

Our guest room was looking dark and drab so I bought a can of silver spray paint and went to town. I am sure I will be sick of it soon but for now it has a nice sparkly Christmas vibe!

Addy loves Santa and she loves to carry him around and dance too. We have some video that Daron will have to upload of Addy and Santa dancing. She is getting more sassy and cute with each passing day. Yikes!

Two years ago today Rodeo passed away. Addyson, Zeena and I went to visit his gravesite at Angels Overlook at Best Friends today. I am so thankful that Daron had a beautiful headstone made because everytime I visit I see his amazing face and read the letter I wrote to him. The caretakers of Angels Overlook had just raked the sand around all of the memorial stones and it was a beautiful day out. He would have loved hiking with us this morning especially since we saw two does and a buck, horses and a jack rabbit! I am sure he was there in spirit!

om, Dad, Dan and Antonio celebrated Thanksgiving together in Fla. first time in a long time. Mom and Dad are so happy to have Dan in Florida again! I know Lisa misses him but he could only take KY for so long! I guess he is a beach boy at heart.

We had another great Thanksgiving at the Steimers house this year. They smoke a turkey every year and it is delicious! The weather has been gorgeous and although we missed our families we were glad to have friends to celebrate with.

Hmmmmm... I guess if Addy were Muslim and hijabs were made from daddy's underwear this picture would make sense.

Since Veterans Day fell on a Wednesday and Daron had that day off we decided to to to the Zermatt Resort and Spa in Midway, UT near Park City, UT. Wow did we see some beautiful mansions around that area! We had bought a two night package last year that was offered to Best Friends employees. It took 5 hours to get there but it was really nice and the staff was very friendly. Daron got to spend some quiet time in the hot tub, I used my buy one massage get one free coupon and Addy had a nice time on the carousel. Although I think the fountain in the lobby was her favorite.

Anyhow, on a funny note on our way home I was driving and I had to go to the bathroom soooo bad. I of course didn't want to stop and by the time I decided that I had to go the next town wasn't for forty miles. Needless to say I took the next exit on an old dirt road and squatted down in front of the car. As I was squatting there I thought to myself "This is a stupid place to be - right in front of the car. Imagine if it lurched forward..." Daron got in the drivers seat to drive for awhile and said "Hey you left it in drive." Oh my gosh. I was lucky we were on an incline.
