Jason and Petra are the parents of the uber talented Haley Andrews. We were lucky to be visiting Houston the same day of her recital. I don't have the photo's of the actual recital. I think Daron has those on his computer but I have some cute photos of Miss Haley

Then, on our trip to Houston the two of them got together for an update shot. If Addy turns out to be as pretty as my mom has always been I'd be one happy Papa!

Addy LOVED to travel and found all the people in the airport very interesting. She loved attention and smiles and waves and was a complete angel on the plane. One fellow even said that her smile was "disarming" ahhh we are going to be in trouble...
After Addy's bath in the tub Mimi set her in the sink and she had a blast. Addy loved Mimi and Grandpa's new condo. She was mesmerized by all the colors and Christmas lights.
Grandpa David took over when we all reached Houston and Daron and I took a much needed break!

Grandpa Brian and Addy share their own special language. As we left FLA she waved for the first time to her Grandpa Brian. Then at the airport she discovered she got ALOT of attention by waving at the airport staff. It was hilarious.

Addy had her first taste of hummus. Not just any Hummus - not MY baby - she tried the best hummus EVER at Fadi's Mediterranean in Houston.
Addy met her BFF Madison. They got along pretty good until Chip (Madison's Dad) carried Addy around the living room. Madison was PISSED. She definitely does not want to share her Daddy. Sarah (Madison's Mom) decided that Best Friends Forever should have similar hair styles and put a pink bow in Addy's hair.

These pics were taken during our first few days of vacation in Houston. Uhhh, the fun picture is the Andrews family. 3 generations of NUTS! I'm hoping Addy carries on the tradition and will do everything in my power to make that happen... Sarah put the little bow in Addy's hair while we stayed with them for a night, and the picture is of her at Fadi's Mediterranian Grill. That place has close to the best food on earth. Chip cooked some top shelf Gumbo and we got to see Addyson and Maddison meet for the first time. I'm thinking the 5 month gap won't seem like as much in a year or two. It was so cool to see my niece and nephew and brother and sister, and grammy and pawpaw squeezed in some qt with Addybatty. I realized that I have to make more of an effort to get out of Kanab a bit more often. But it is like getting out of bed on a rainy Saturday morning trying to leave that sleepy little town... Daron

She thought it was interesting but was a tad bit wary. I think she is more of a dog person. Here she is taking after her Grandpa in Florida and teaching class...

We will be in Houston on Dec 6,7,8 and Boyton Beach Fla. on Dec. 9,10,11. We hope we can see everyone but unfortunately it is a short visit.

Sadie Bassett has surgery tomorrow. She has four bladder stones. Her person is going to keep me updated on the surgery.

Addy got a huge thrill out of riding around a little in the backpack Jon & Jamie got us at our baby shower. Heck, I'd love to ride in that thing. I guess it would have to be saskwatch carrying me, but I digress. 

Hi Grandparents in Texas and Florida! I just wanted you to know it is getting chilly and I look forward to seeing you all this December. Don't forget, I like presents. Love Addyson Dorea Andrews also known as Precious, Angel or My Little Darlin.

It's me again! I am with my Dad. We look good in black and we root for the Raiders. Even though they are not doing good my Dad says we are not fair weather fans. Go Raiders.

Speaking of football. Football is always just before the holidays and holidays mean presents. I am wearing size 12 - 18 months. I am only 8 months old but my Mommy tells me I am above and beyond average.

Me again, I am just so gosh darn cute it makes me giggle. My parents and Aunt Karen love me so much. In fact Auntie Karen brought me 6 new outfits and 3 pairs of shoes. She's a fashion guru from Chicago. I look so cute in my new duds. I am a lucky little girl.

Despite hundreds of dollars worth of baby toys Addy chooses to play with a dog toy. That's ok because the dog prefers her baby toys. As long as Addy doesn't bark and Zeena doesn't start to wear diapers I'm ok with that.

Last year I was an oven because I had a "Bun in the Oven!" Well, the bun is out and this year she was a pink poodle thanks to Mimi in Florida. Daron was a Texan fan, oh wait, he is always a Texan fan. Jon, Jaime and Kate came over for dinner and Jon took some photos with his great camera. When we took her poodle outfit off she had a meltdown. The outfit was a bit hot since Halloween was really warm this year. Ya know, global warming and all! Vote Obama. Oh did I say that. Hopefully, Daron won't come back and erase this.





And with that Halloween was done!
